Does any one have a photograph of how the wires connect for the rear window motors? I have had everything torn apart for about two years and now it is time to put it back together.

Thanks!

Scott

The stock rear window motors?

At the 3 pole junction attached to the regulator, you have 2 sets of 2 wires each, one set black and red, the other green and yellow, going into the junction from the rest of the car. There is also a goround coming from the motor that attaches to the regulator itself. The two motor wires are then connected to the terminals with the wires from the rest of the car.

A picture is worth a thousand words...

I know it sounds dumb but the black wires with red stripe go to the black wires and the green wires with yellow stripes go to the green wire?

Yep, that is how it goes.

Even if you puit it in backwards, however, it just means you'll have to put the switch in upside down, or switch how the wires are connected to the switch. All it does is effect a voltage difference over the motor, making it work. The way the wires are connected determines the direction of that difference, and ergo which direction the motor will move the window, up or down.
