Rear window shades

I have these rear window shades on my coupe and was wondering if they were original option. I've searched and found only one other person (runner) with a pic of these shades on his coupe and they look almost similar to my shades on my '71 2800cs.

Another coupe buddy has what I remember to be, a pair on his back shelf. I believe they were not an option on our coupes but were on a later model BMW. Perhaps the early 5 or 6 series.
Waiting to hear from the experts.

I agree, early Sixers were first to have window shades but they were two separate shades I believe. A friend had a 630CS in early 80s.

Here is the original post by Runner on his coupe with an original window shades option. His shades look exactly like mine and its the same like mine where it is one piece. Also the mounting hardware on the ends with the blue plastic match exactly the blue interior plastic in my coupe with same exact finish.

I am skeptical because they aren't in the Orange parts books and aren't listed in the back of the Owners Manual as BMW accessories and I have manuals from a 73 and a 74. They are very cool though.
