Rear window switch wiring

We have removed the rear window switch to try and get it working again but now I have forgotten which way the wires went! I looked at the diagram in the tech info but unfortunately I cannot read the writing as the scan isn't clear enough. Does anyone have a clearer copy of the wiring diagram?

It has 5 wires, it is the rear right. They are green, black, blue, blue with white rings, black with white stripe.

Of course these may not be original colours, but if I can figure out what each should be i.e. positive, negative, on to next switch or whatever then the mulitmeter and I should be able to piece it back together!

My bad. I thought you meant defroster switch. ( I heard rear window and pulled the trigger and misfired.)

The wiring on a window motor works if you have original motors. If by chance you have the E28 motor upgrade the switch wiring is a bit different as the switch has to change the up/down connections vs. a direct wire and a ground.

All sorted now. Wires didn't match the diagram but I actually did a proper job testing the other side with my multimeter (I tried earlier but not comprehensively so failed) and applying the logic to the right, success! (after having to switch a couple of wires to make up up and down down!)

Still moves incredibly slowly though, will have to put the motor upgrade on the list.

If it's slow it's not a motor you need but rather a thorough removal and cleaning of the track and gear, followed preferably by a relay upgrade, both will do wonders for window speed.
