Rear Windows fully retracted

respectfully disagree,
i can not use my arm to open rear windows
plus it is ridiculously cool to power open them in the marina at the yatch club entrance
front windows can be kept manual

p.s. i have not needed new motors, the sardine can are able to move the windows propoerly for me:
Noted.
My thesis is that a window needs to be opened only when there is a person sitting next to it, and that person has an arm.
Your sardine motors work great, which is surprising as Getaria is better known for anchovies than sardine canning :).

I did bring a fresh power supply and relays to the rear windows.
From what I have read on this topic, this is probably the single best fix. The windows take quite a lot of current, and routing those wires into the console and then out through the door hinges means a combination of a lot of wire, and some fairly small switches (in the console). Put a big power wire into the door or the rear quarters, and then use the switches to control a relay in the door to run the motor...

your thesis counts in function, which is quite right

i recall that your old motto was function follows form, but sometimes form follows fucntion, and it even follows form in certain occasions
the best one is that generally speaking form follows your wife (but she is quick and keeps the lead), Apologies for this digression, the wife is the quintessence of everything, as Plato said: "wife is the measure of all things."

when you are in an e9 and you already have your front windows open there is an urge to open the rears if (add here your favourite reason): beacuse it is hot (function) and /or because there is people watching (form)

i keep noone in the rear seats, and the anchovies that i buy in Getaria have no arms to help me with the rear windows, that is why i approve of power windows

If form follows function, then, since nobody sits in the back of your coupe, you should remove the seats and send them to me....

I personally like power windows...even though I rarely drive with any windows down (messes up the hair I don't have on the top of my head....)

i am with younger @Arde form follows form, first aesthetics, second and third, too, my seats stay !

I am not going to retract my thesis any more than the window retracts.
There is the risk of children getting their necks caught playing with electric windows, in modern cars opening the rear window causes a standing wave resonance that can blow your inner ear, and my wife is the first to scream when somebody in the rear seat opens it. So there is that.
Res no verba, the Zagato I am building has manual front windows and fixed rears! It does have an electrical tailgate lifter motor to allow airflow through the cabin and serve as a form of spoiler.

I do concede that form follows whatever the wife says.
