I can't believe that I have to ask this, but I am struggling.

I have removed the front door wooded trim and want to remove the rear wood trim, ie beside the rear seats. The front came off easily, once door card removed and the 4 small screws that attach the black metal bracket to the door frame they both slid upwards. Then turn them over to remove the 3 tiny screws which attach the wood to the bracket. However, the rear ones which look similar have me stuck at the moment. I have removed the small screws that hold the black metal bracket to the car and then removed the seat belt bolts, but they will not slide upwards. One moves a couple of mm and the other does not move at all. Any suggestions on what I have missed?

Thanks for any advice given.

Did you remove the the chrome Philips head screw behind the glass?
Nothing comes out without the window down and the screw out.
In the pic there is a gap between trim and window- head of screw is visible..

Thank you

I found that screw last night, so got the wood out. It took some effort as the car I s part stripped, so windows needed the trip switches refitting to get them to open. Once this was done it became clear.
Thank you
