Recommended tires for Coupe King staggered wheels

Continental extreme DWS. Are about $500 for a set
Michelin Pilot Sport AS (gen 4) are about $600 for a set.

Both choices are less than HALF the cost of 4 Michelin run flats for my X5...

Don’t forget amodern spare tire that fits in the trunk (195/70-14).

I’ll look into those. What tire size is recommended for front and rear?

right there with @bfeng for UHP all season tires. both are quite good.

since nobody really drives their coupe in the snow or rain, you might also look at the firestone firehawk indy 500 - UHP summer tire (about 425 for the set uninstalled) ... or the continental extreme contact sport - max performance summer tire (around 500 for the set uninstalled)

The Conti DWS Extreme has a funky tread, go with Scott’s recommendation of the Conti DW Sport. $630 installed in SoCal, Michelin is at least $100 more but a great tire.

Chris, here in New England some of us drive in relatively cold temps. Sometimes well below 32F (winter but pre-salt season). Most summer only tires now state no movement below freezing. For me, AS tires also ride a bit nicer. If I needed a max performance car, I’d buy a low mileage 996TT. My E9 is a vintage performance car...

@scottevest runs snow tires!!! :)
yeah ... but he lives just down the road from Sun Valley, Idaho.

easy for us in the southern half to say buy summer tires. my 997s has summer tires on it, and i've driven it in the snow just fine .... carefully, but fine. i was more worried about the other people doing stupid things. i think @HB Chris has recommended the Michelin pilot sport AS tires several times before ... and they are a good all around tire, just a bit more expensive. i had the DWS on my son's VW Jetta and they were good tires.
