Great price, anybody have thoughts about this one. I'd be interested - bummer it's an automatic.

if an automatic can be purchased in great shape for a more reasonable price - you have headroom to put in a 5 speed. if you were to buy a 4 speed and wanted a 5 speed, you would be paying a lot more money for a clutch pedal, a clutch master / slave cylinder ... most of which you would spend money to rebuild or replace when you put the 5 speed in. there are many great coupes on this forum that were once automatics. this is not an endorsement for this sahara coupe.
Adding to what Scott said, automatic chassis tend to be in better condition due to the fact that they are much harder to flog. Less chance of chassis fatigue at the trans tunnel which can cause so many other issues.
