refinishing trimwork

I plan on removing the dripcaps above the windows and the metal belly trim from around my '73 CS as well as the windshield and rear window trim for refinishing. I live in the San Francisco area, has anybody sent out trim to be refinished and how well did it come out? Also, is there any recommendations as to who to use and how much did it cost? Thanks.

Depends on your level of desire, but generally they are not refinish-able in a satisfactory, long-lasting manner.
