Removal of Rocker Molding

Hi: This is slightly off topic. I don't need help removing the trim on my CS, but a project Bavaria I am working on. Nobody was able to tell me how to within the Bavaria community. Don't want to break it off. Totally different from my '02 as well. Does it "clip" on or is it screwed on? I cannot see the screws. I think it is the same as the CS, thus my question. Thanks in advance.

Are they riveted?
My coupe had them riveted on in which I drilled them out to remove the cover.

neither my coupe or Bavaria have them riveted on.

I think they use clips. Said clips usually break after 30 years of not being disturbed, but I also think they are still available.

Neal, the E3s are like 2002s, metal with stud on each end, plastic clips in the middle. Any that you remove will probably break.

Metal parts are 51 13 1 817 064 need 14
Nuts are 07 11 9 922 017, need 14
Plastic clips are 51 13 1 804 205 need 32
