you all know that in our e9´s, in the lateral "C"pillars an emblem is located, as:
but in my car, when repainted, those emblems were missing, and an alternative solution was placed,this seems to be an autoadhesived emblem of the nineties:
yes I agree, it does not fit at all, so after some mayor works I am considering the work of dissasembling it, but: without destroying the paint !
the question of course is that I do not know in which condition is the paint under that emblem now
does anyone know a good method to remove the emblem without damaging the paint ?
p.s.: I am thinking of a hot air gun, but I feel afraid of how it will affect the paint
