Hi everyone,

I'm busy with the dismantling of my E9, but I got stuck at the upper trim from the rear side windows. The trim where the window fits in.

Can anyone help me by telling how I have to remove this?

Thanks in advance.

Kind Regards,

Pull out the felt window guide from trim, remove screws, save the clips that hold in the felt guide- you can get new felt guides pretty cheap :-)

Many thanks guys! Already thought so, but I just wanted to be sure that I didn't break anything.
All the trims are removed properly now!

Are these guides available and of OEM quality and material? I have one that has decided to thread apart, and should probably be replaced.

I got my replacements from Ben at LJI, I'm sure it's available elsewhere but it works well, looks good (as original) except allot "blacker" since the originals are usually quite grey from the sun. The trick is to get them in there well using the clips, mostly it's the time you take doing it (as with most things). I think you could get them to look "original" but some manipulation will be necessary- not sure if that helps but there also may be others on the forum with better suggestions or a different product that is superior.

Good luck!
