Removing panel below steering wheel, left of console

I want to remove the fairly large panel below the steering wheel, between the console and the drop down door for hood release access (that door is off). I can not find a way to remove the knob that re-sets the odometer to '0' on my '74 CS. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I see there is a nut that should unscrew to release it from the thin sheet metal holding it but I can't see how the 'knob' is removed so that nut can be accessed and removed.

Gary, there's a tiny set screw at the base of the knob that holds it to the shaft.

Aha, Danke Schoen. Now I should be able to make progress. I guess I didn't rotate it enough to see the setscrew.
