Maybe I'm lousy at searching the topics, but I haven't found instructions for removing the rear "door" panels and wood trim. I took out my rear seats and fished around a bit with no luck. Is there a secret I'm missing?

Thanks,

You have to pull the window all the way down or up (I dont recall) to expose the little screw toward where the "b" pillar would be. Unscrew and the assembly can be pulled up and out.

Hope this helps. It racked my head for a bit. With 2002's there is no screw so I was fooled into believing the same would apply to the e9.

I just did this. After removing the seats there were two phillips head screws, one on the lower rail and one on the back panel. Then I removed the interior door sill trim plate. Once this is out of the way I was able to pull it out and then up. I don't remember the other screw that is mentioned.
