Before I dive in head first and damage something, I thought I would do a search and get the correct instructions on removing the glovebox. However, I was unable to find any real details.
Can anyone help with instructions, photos or a link?
My thanks in advance.

I don't know if my glovebox is the same as all the others. As well as removing those hinge bolts that you can see, there is a kind of piano hinge at the back of the box which is attached via 3 10mm (I think) bolts to a protruding thing on the inside of the bulkhead. The bolts are difficult to see when the box is in place, you have to just feel for them.

Fred,

Remove the very small circlips on the hinge pins, but leave the pins in the hinges until last.

Remove the light at the back of the box and disable it by remving the wire/ connection to the moment switch so it doesn't stay on but can hang loose.

The bottom does have the screws in a piano hinge. Yes, they are hard to see and be careful they don't drop behind the carpet. A piece of masking tape on the carpet top to body might save you some grief.

You can start with these, loosen and remove all but one as the last step before you pull the box out. Carefull with that hinge and free it up gently if it's stuck or difficult to operate.
