So my VIN tag on inner right side fender area is looking a bit tacky. Where can I get one that looks like the original, and how can I get the number added. Also, is there a specific type of rivet that should be used to attach? Many thanks. Mike

the only thing you could read on mine was the stamps. the PO didn't put it back on the car after the repaint including under the hood. with great paint under the hood, i wasn't going to put the old washed out VIN tag back on. i got one from Coupeking. its perfect.

I had checked out my car several times prior to getting the seller to finally agree to sell it to me and by that time had memorized the VIN. When the seller signed over the title, I exclaimed with surprise that the VIN printed on the title was wrong. This was news to him. Fortunately, it was a simple typo. the middle digit was typed as an O, not a 0. I did the deal anyway as I didn't want him to back away again. It took a bit of paperwork at the DMV to get a new title with the correct VIN, but it went smoothly.
