This seems a simple enough project. The step that would make the job simpler would be to remove the Ireland Engineering stress bar from the top of the shock towers to allow easy access to the expansion tank.
Currently I have the plastic tank and just got a nice brass tank to replace it.

Question: Simply remove the 6 nuts holding the stress bar in place and remove? The screws won't drop out will they?

Great!!!
Thanks Andrew
PS: I have your steering wheel jig.
Maybe Mario will do the Spirited Drive again this year? Sunday is better.

Hi Stan,

Did you end up using your tank plus the part that DQ sent you, or did you find a replacement?

your tank went to DeQ, Jarhead gave me one with the part intact. Just needed cleaning and repaint.

Ah that's right. It's funny to see these parts moving around between members. Jarhead also gave me a set of headrests for free! Good guy!

If you have a shop vac, use it to suck out the coolant in the current tank. Open the bleeder to pull the coolant from the hoses.
