Replacing indicator stalk/unit.

Guys, I am about to change out my indicator stalk, was hoping it was a simple couple of screws, but looks like a lot more,,, any tips?

Do I need to drop the entire steering column out, to change the stalk, or can i release the final part of the steering column and slip it out?

Two screws hold the stalk on. Can't recall exactly how far you gotta go to get to them.
Steering wheel and bottom half column cover for sure. Maybe more. May depend on steering wheel type and if you have late or early column.

As Thomas stated, remove steering wheel and lower metal column cover to get to the two screws, very easy.

Ha Ha, yep , all done, should have just taken off the bloody steering wheel up front, it would have been apparent how easy the job was!! thanks again..
