I was about to drop the front subframe with engine and suspension to freshen all that up. But after looking at it for a while I started to think that it might be easier to replace the LC arm and the tension strut while the subframe is still on the car. The reason being that this way they are in a "suspended state" and they are not going to move around so it might be easier to applying force if necessary.

Is that correct or would it be easier to do once the whole assembly is out?

Thank you.
