I've read the past posts about members' liking the NGK BP6ES plugs and I am curious to try them, these are the non-resistor ones, will they cause radio interference and is there any advantage to using these over the BPR6ES resistor version or should I go with the latter?

Radio Interference

I run the non resistor plug. No problems on my CS with the stereo system.

Do you guys have modern or old radios? I have the original Becker in the car and it likely has no noise supression capability.

Stereo

I run modern equipment in the CS.(Alpine head, Nakamichi and Alpine amps, Infinity speakers) But, I have a Blaupunkt Berlin and have had other early Blaupunkts. Suppresion has not been a problem for me, which I attribute to modern spark plug wires on a street car vs. solid core race wires.

My rule of thumb on much older machines was that if I did have an interference issue- it always was a miss and I knew right away.

FYI- For those that have systems- Blaupunkt just came out with very low profile speakers- 2" depth which solves a lot of placement problems for front imaging on a coupe. Even woofers too. ( It's on my list of things to improve...)

just a small issue on the NGK´s

my mechanic does not like them, I do not have any other technical information about this point and I know this information is quite subjective,

so as I don´t like the bosch´s, I am actually installing the BERU´s K14 I think

BERU has a very complete catalog for oldtimers in their web page:
http://www.beru.com/download/produktfinder/Oldtimer_2010.pdf

they work fine

That's odd -
I've run NGK's in everything I have driven since the late 80's.
Mercedes, BMW (old and new), GM, Mercruiser.... Even my power equipment.

Never a problem with any of them. I've probably installed (across the years) upwards of 300 plugs....

resistor boots on the wires

If you're running a stock wire set, the spark plug boots have resistors in them. If your wires have resistor boots, you don't want resistor plugs. Go with a BP6ES or a BP5ES if you need a hotter plug. With NGK, the lower number BP5ES is hotter than a BP6ES. It's the opposite with Bosch W7DC is cooler than W8DC. I've found NGK BP5ES to be perfect for my 3.0 csi and also for both of my 2002tii s. I have vintage Blaupunkt or Becker radios in my cars and no problem spark plug related radio noise.
