Restoration shop

I have a 72 E9 in need a of a light restoration - the car is in great shape but it needs the final push to make it perfect - doors aligning, new trim pieces and a few other details. Does anyone know anyone good in NJ or the NY/NJ/CT tri-state area?

Another vote for VSR.

Happy longtime customer here.

You might have to wait a long time to get in, depending on how extensive the work is.

Also, if any of the work involves the body, once you take the paint off an old E9, you don't know what you will find. It can look pretty from the outside, but underneath can be bondo etc. Twenty years ago, these were $15,000 cars.

If it is all mechanical or interior, then mission creep tends not to be a problem.
