I'm out of storage space and need to put my restored '73 CS up for sale. The restoration was completed in 2008 and the car now has a 3.5L engine, fuel injection, sunrooof and many other tasteful upgrades. Notable Restoration Modifications
· Converted to 1979 3.5 litre BMW M90 engine
· Converted to 5 speed from 1984 BMW E28
· Nardi steering wheel
Post Restoration Modifications (all work performed by Don Lawrence)
· Converted to Motronic 1.3 fuel injection with 1989 ECU and wiring harness
· Schrick 284 camshaft with ported and polished heads.
· 320i long tubes for maximum torque (includes stock short tubes for high end revs).
· Coupe King full stainless exhaust with M30 B35 manifolds. Includes muffler “carrot” for quieter exhaust if preferred
· Coupe King Alpina style wheels (original steel wheel available for purchase)
After consulting with CS experts I've decided to ask $52,000 for the car. Please PM me with serious inquiries only - this is a not a distress sale. I can provide additional photos.
