I was fortunate to acquire some well loved 1979 Alpina wheels from an amazing E9 owner. With the wheels came some great advice, down to the product to use and much hand holding on how to do it myself.
I have included some picture and will keep you update.
First I decided removing the tires would make the project much easier and in the end they were very old and unsafe to use. Next power washing and gunk removal. File sand, clean wash, prime, Sand wash. Paint first coat, sand wash. SCREW UP and paint with wind. Decide to drink beer... ran out of paint. Sand a bunch more and currently waiting for another can of paint. You are up to date. More to come after paint comes on Sunday
