Is the RHD bell crank lever the same as the LHD version? It appears that there are two LHD bell cranks, so I would also imagine that the RHD had two versions also.

One was for carbs (Z shape) and the other was for injected motors (L shape).
The parts manual suggests that there was a different version for the 2.5/2.8 CS's and 3.0 CS's both in Europe and the US. As you suggest, the CSi's including the CSLi appear to have had a different bell crank. See attached parts manual list.
I can't find a separate bell crank listing for the RHD CS's of any flavor. I am mostly interested in the question of whether the RHD CS versions use the same bell cranks as their LHD versions.

My RHD 71 2800cs has an L shaped crank which I believe is original to the car.
Thank you for that information. Would it be possible for you to upload a pic of the bell crank and it's linkage?
I have been asked by several RHD owners if our side draft linkage would work on their cars and I don't want to mislead them but I don't have any actual data about the bell crank.

I have an m 90 with fi in there now but the arrangement is the same as with carbs. I added the return spring should be a torsion spring if you want more pics let me knowCBF2BC7B-5304-4E81-A269-CF3C3A7C70BB.jpeg

Thank you for the photo Ian! That appears to be the same motor mount/early bell crank as the LHD version. The one on our '74 is more Z shaped than that and has a movement stop but would result in the same 90° action as yours.
