The parts manual suggests that there was a different version for the 2.5/2.8 CS's and 3.0 CS's both in Europe and the US. As you suggest, the CSi's including the CSLi appear to have had a different bell crank. See attached parts manual list.One was for carbs (Z shape) and the other was for injected motors (L shape).
Thank you for that information. Would it be possible for you to upload a pic of the bell crank and it's linkage?My RHD 71 2800cs has an L shaped crank which I believe is original to the car.
