Hi all you RHD-ers, as well as any LHD-ers bored enough to be reading this...
In my increasing enthusiasm as various resto jobs are actually working out ok, I'm going to ask the guys taking care of my seat recovering to also remake carpet set in proper material. I know I can buy a replica set complete but bespoke actually works out cheaper, since the rears are in good condition.
So in my excitement I hunted down the box in the garage that currently has the original carpets and started to lay them out in my otherwise-empty interior - when I got the car the carpets were removed since I had new floor panels welded-in. And yes you've guessed it...I'm missing a critical piece of the original carpet ! Sods law.
So can I ask a big favour - would anyone with a manual RHD e9 be kind enough to trace out a template of their drivers-side footwell carpets for me ? I only need the (two ?) pieces that go beneath the pedals, I already have the main footwell piece with the heel-pad. I'd really appreciate it and would obviously cover any postage costs.
Thanks in advance, Rich
