Ribbed nuts from behind the gauge cluster

Does anyone know a good source for the ribbed nuts on the back of the instrument cluster? There are a couple of M5 on the studs that hold the hole cluster and some smaller M4 that hold the instruments. Those pesky things have a nasty habit of disappearing all too quickly.

W&N does not appear to have them and neither does Belmetric

Same nuts as used for adjusting frt of sunroof, I just bought some from the local dealer awhile ago from Realoem

You could also look at McMaster Carr under nuts/thumb screws They have some SS ones that are not 100% the same but will work

Going for originality is something i can greatly appreciate, but just for functional purposes any correct sized metric nut will work.

I think the word you are looking for is knurled.

That's what I started searching for. Then I found out many call it "Ribbed". And then I found out even more call it "Thumb"... Go figure

Going for originality is something i can greatly appreciate, but just for functional purposes any correct sized metric nut will work.

In general, I am certainly on board with that. But when you can't see your hand trying to find the stud behind the instrument panel in the dark, trying to feel where these nuts are because you can't see anything, the ergonomic design of the original nuts is pretty damn useful. ;-)
