So we have a master cylinder with two separate chambers and two separate remote servos. I have replaced the originals with Lockheed servo's which are 2.3 to one pressure. Does this mean that the servo multiply's the pressure by 2.3 times?

I am looking to reduce the plumbing and go to a single circuit system and I thought that it might be good to get rid of one of the servo's. Then I thought, what if I kept the two but I connected them in line, one after the other. Would this give me 4.6 times the pressure at the pedal? Has this been tried and is there any downside?

Yes, if the servos are 2.3:1 then whatever the pressure from the master cylinder, this should be boosted by a factor of 2.3 on the "output" side of the servo.

Connecting two in series and/or going to a single circuit sounds a bad idea for all kinds of safety and insurance reasons. If it did work, the brakes would probably be horribly light.

I am satisfied that BMW would have investigated the braking system exhaustively before bringing the RHD arrangement to market as designed and installed. I am in no position to verify this but can assure that the arrangement, when in good condition, is very impressive indeed. I would caution against unproven alternatives. Best, John.
