RIP Sean Connery

Five years ago while in London on Sabbatical I toured a James Bond Car exhibit at the London Automobile Museum. I am sure it has a fancier British name. Getting that close to those brilliant machines was a thrill. Right Mark, cool guy, cool cars.

The world's only Scottish Russian submarine commander. Now that's acting.
Loved his golf and was a pretty good player in his younger days. Would have been great to have a game with him.

We watched a couple of his movies that were NOT James Bond recently. They were incredibly different roles for him, and we think showed the breadth of his acting ability. One - The Man Who Would Be King is almost as hilarious/humorous as Monte Python movies, while the second - The Molly Maguires is deadly serious both in subject and in character.

We enjoyed them, and will work through a list of his 'other' works while getting ourselves through the Covid-19 issue.
