Today I found this work order from Les Rosenthal and I texted him to tell him he is a man after my own heart.
All numbers are round, no 19.95 nonsense, and transacted in cash.
Compare against a 7k job in Oregon to put a new short block from BMW, flywheel, stater, new Webers, etc. and accounting
done in nickels and dimes...
Oh well. The good news is that 1990 short block is still going strong.

Arde, why can't the whole world be like the IRS, Les, and a Burger and Milkshake stand near where I live. They all have "Rounded"

Up or down, it all comes out the same in the end. Seems like it all averages out, all winners.

Oh, and while we are solving the world's financial problems, let's get rid of the less than worthless penny!!!

It is so in Lake Wobegon, but Minnesota is too cold for me...
Anyway, try Buenos Aires where the largest denomination was 1.000 pesos which was 60 cents when I was there in July, yet you want cash to get the black market dollar value... That stack in the picture is half of what I carried every day just for taxis and food. Things are getting better!, the peso is up to 0.1 cents of a US$.

Reminds me of the Italian Lire in the 80s before the mighty euro. At one time it was 1,828.54 or 1,829 rounded to the dollar.
