Stopped by RS Garage today while in Porto. Had a great time going through their processes and looking at several cars in process as well as some waiting to be restored. Pretty impressive work and the length they go to ensure the cars are accurate is fairly extreme. I snapped a few pictures of the Golf Ultralight and the white Bat

mobile which was awaiting interior and final details. Enjoy!

Wow. Very, very nice. Thanks for sharing...I wonder how they get their new rubber to look so pretty and black; i.e. how to get rid of the gray, dusty stuff...?

Really nice!

I can contribute to their extreme accuracy by suggesting that the Golf passenger side wiper should have no air baffle.

I think we discussed this before, so I may be wrong.

Well, they've had many original L's through their hands so everytine I thought something might be incorrect, his simple response was that the great majority of the poor condition, but highly original cars coincided to this detail or that. They had 20-30 CSLs through the shop and there were 6 there on my visit. If you see a bunch of original cars coinciding on something I would tend to give that credence... Just my 2 cents

Golf CSL has black air cleaner clips, modern brake reservoir cap, later valve cover with filler in rear, trunk caddy, air cleaner looks flat.
