Scott,

Please sit down and take a few very DEEEEP breaths.....You posted asking about which of your "two" red handled Heyco Screwdrivers is correct for your E9.

Well buddy I regret that I have to be the one to tell you that you are (or soon will be) in very serious need of immediate medical attention... The reason I say this is because you are agonizing about which of your "two" different red handled Heyco screwdrivers is correct for your E9...

Well buddy (please be calm) there are not just (2) different Heyco screwdrivers... Please take a look at the attached photo and you will see that there are actually....... Are you very calm?

Scoot... there are (6) six different red handled Heyco screwdrivers! Some have large raised letters others have smaller raised letters then others have recessed letters while others have different types of printed letters...

The men in the white suits will be paying you a visit very soon...

Jeff (AKA execmalibu)

let me quote some sage advice that i've been practicing ...

"I collect vintage BMWs not Vintage Porsches! I promise not to get involved in the tiny details.... " again "I collect vintage BMWs not..."

... and as you so eloquently put it, "I have found if you do this 20-30 times a day for at least a month that you will start to feel better..."

i have been doing this and i no longer sweat the small stuff. and as you just told me they are all correct. good news.

Tools

IMHO best to put together a tidy set of Snap-on tools for the trunk, in a nice little tool box.
The "clam shell" is a piece of crap and kind of an after thought by the engineers as to make the car more "to date" I would suppose. Obvious this bit was never designed to hold the aforementioned dipped in gold screw drivers or anything else with weight over a small pack of Kleenex nose wipes for those with this pointed upwards.
