If I want some rubber thingie to fill the hole where a rubber grommet used to be what the heck is that piece called? I've tried googling rubber grommet and seeing what comes up with them, but can not find a plug to fill the hole. Yes, I even tried rubber plug, but it lead mostly to porn sites (just kidding -- it lead to the same rubber grommet sites, with no helpful results).

I need a rubber plug thingie to fill the holes where the a/c hoses used to go in my CSL (anyone who would put aftermarket a/c in a CSL should be shot, but that's another story).

Might try looking under "plumbing" in a hot rod catalog (Summit, Speedway, CDOC, etc) or make a trip down to Gotellis in South San Francisco or your favorite speed shop. Look for cap & plug, and grommet kits.

Summit has a plug kit #SUM-220025 or 'Seals-It' (mfg) offers a number of firewall grommets on the same page of the Summit catalog.

Orchard Supply Hardware has a huge selection of useful rubber, plastic and stainless steel plugs in all shapes and sizes. I'm pretty sure there are some OSH stores in the bay area.
