Hello everyone, does anybody know a mechanic in the Los Angeles area that can make a 72 3.0cs with carbs runs like it should be? (purr like a cat)

Try calling TRE Automotive @ 818.508.0257. They are a Porsche shop (it's alright to use the 'P' word, isn't it?) and are well versed in carburetors. I've known Dave and Jim Bouzaglou, the owners, for many years and they do excellent work (but it ain't cheap). They are in the North Hollywood/Burbank-ish area.
