possibly the most complex of the S38s . . .
I recently did this install into a 1988 M5 US spec and wiring in that was a challenge.
The later versions of the S38 after the 3.5s have more complex electronics. The most difficult for this package is the electronic signal for speed, easliy acquired from a later car with electronic speedometer.
The larger intake plenum of the 3.6 with the centered air inlet will be a challenge spacially. The earlier intake with the inlet on the front is narrower and should interfere less.
That's not to say it can't be done, it's just a big project, and a greater challenge.
