Good Morning,

I got a 3-Bar FPR from a 900S in one of the yards here. The fitting to screw it onto the later L-Jet fuel rail seem to be a bit to big on the FPR side. I was wondering if they are all like this and I need a step down adapter or if I simply got one out the wrong year car. I unfortuantely, now, don't know what year the Saab was. This is for an L-Jet/Motronic conversion on a B35.

Thanks for any advice,

Scott

I'm not sure what your set up is for but bought a new one for my Motronic 1.3 conversion from Carl (La Jolla) and I do know it was not a BMW pressure regulator... I forget if he said it was for a Saab or Volvo, sorry. Cost was around $90.00. Call him and ask.

Thanks, this is for a Motronic conversion with L-Jet manifold. I thought this was the proper one, but I may be off in years, as I thought the right 900S FPR was a straight bolt-on.

Thanks!

What you are looking for is a Bosch 0 280 160 256 FPR. It is a 3 bar FPR from a 90's Saab 900. It is a direct replacement for the stock regulator on the L-jet rail.

Thanks, Srennoc, i went to the AutohausAz and ekpt changing years and that is what I came up with, also. I believe that the one that I have is slightly older (I can't make out the part number) on it. I know of where another one is in the yards, though.

I am gald I am getting to the final stages of this, though!

EDIT: Confirmed mine is a #706 (last three digits)
