You probably all remember this one. That cage certainly isn’t going anywhere!

Unless it rusts free... Looks like it's got the cancer.

I quite like the overall build. $65k is ambitious considering the rust and overall condition of car .

Jeff, I was thinking the same, it's not so much the price but with some average+ attention to detail that could be a very attractive car and he would probably get more than 65K, some grommets, a little trim refreshing, some blue leather dye, some black dye for the steering wheel, windex and of course a vacuum. It's not being overly critical, One shouldn't leave their Super-model girlfriend in the parking lot at a Dead show for a week and expect her to go to work one morning after the shows over and earn top dollar!

disclaimer* for those of you who don't know me, yes- there is something wrong with my brain

I love it, especially the license plate (Liberty Risk); it's what we call Marines we know are going to get in trouble on the weekend. Rust doesn't seem too bad: hood rust near the vents is typical and not a killer and that beast probably merits a fiberglass or aluminum replacement anyway. The two spots near the front shock towers are symmetrical enough to make me think it could be the hood rubbing against those high spots and not rust coming out from underneath. Sure would be a hoot to drive I bet and probably faster than the two Bentleys it's parked next to.

Love the photography. It's like a Petrolicious feature. (which my wife refers to as car porn).

"- Yokohoma S Drive tires (255/40R17 rear, 235/40R17 front)"

Those must be the widest tires I've ever seen on an E9 (minus the CSL racers of course). Props for the owner/builder if they don't rub. Curious on the offset/widths of the wheels. They look good.

If you're not going to run a front bumper, then filling in the seems (I'm sure w/duraglass, that stuff doesn't crack easily), makes sense as so you won't see pop rivets.
The seamless look is interesting - "customish". But yikes - just don't bump up to a curb or wheel stop. That will test/demonstrate the plasticity of the duraglass.

Well...these front air dams are all fiberglass (would be nice if they made a urethane version), so they'll crack if you hit anything. Easier to repair than urethane, but more brittle.

Especially if your car is lowered big time:
