Hi everyone,
Today I attended a 120 mile oldtimer rally with my '73 3.0CS. All small streets with low speed limits (10-50mph). Almost halfway, we started noticing the passenger side floor getting very hot.

Is this normal?

Tom

A few if us have installed a heat shield to prevent this. Others have ceramic coated headers which also do not emit as much heat

Great, I recall seeing this before, but what model is it from (perhaps the OP would like to know)? Provide a p/n? I think it could use some insulation besides...?
