Seam sealant removal

I've used dry ice to remove the tar based sound mat on the floors and transmission tunnel but still left with the seam sealant. Anyone with suggestions/tips on removing seam sealant? Heat gun? Solvent? Paint stripper?

Propane torch and a scraper, maybe a heat gun. Just be careful to not light it up.

Watch the fumes too.

It's butyl, right? Varsol should clean it up after the bulk is stripped off.
