The front seat-backs on our coupes are latched to the seat frame on both sides. We pull a lever to release the seat-back and gain entry to the rear seat. The seat latches "grab" 2 rubber pads on the seat base. When the rubber wears or falls off, the seat-backs can no longer latch firmly in place; they will rock back and forth.

I was surprised to not find these critical rubber pads in the parts book (Group 52) or online Mobile Tradition. Are they buried in another Group chapter or has anyone found an equivalent p/n from a different model?

Thanks!

rubber pads for seat back latching

Sorry to report--they have long since been NLA--and I don't know of any source where they may have been reproduced--but you can fabricate from strong rubber material of similar thickness and glue them to the arm on which the seat back latches--have done this to a couple of Coupes that I have prepped for their new owner. It is very rare to see an E-9 still wearing that part.
