I have purchased a '74 E9 coupe that has aftermarket seats which don't work well for me. I have not taken possession of it yet, but will by the end of May.
Meantime, I'm in Germany on vacation, and starting research on replacement seats (other than OE).
I would love to know the width of the seat rails on the E9 seats or chassis (exterior of one side of the rails to the exterior of the other side. IF anyone knows that, or can easily measure it, I'd really appreciate it.
