This may help you, where it has been spoken about here.....

I have just returned from moving the cars to BMW Seattle from the Auto show and for the club event next Sunday .

Hopefully any of you in the area who are available, come by and say hello and see both the cars and the owner Christian, who is kindly flying from Germany to tell the stories Sunday Morning .

Event details are on BMW CCA Puget Sound website

That sure looks like an E9 but it is missing the side intakes… is that one of the Karmann factory cabrio prototypes? Looks good. I wish the E9 had been optionable with an SL-style removable hardtop.

Those 4 BMWs are E3s including the Cabriolet. Look closely it has 4 doors.

There's an E3 of the Art Wunder car on ebay.
Seems a fair price, a bit higher than the original dealer price. These models were also initiated by Christian. He might have some New Horizon models left. Shipping to America or buying in America should make no difference, however.

Minichamps models of all four Wundercars in 1:43 are to follow, says the manufacturer.

I found the collection here. So it’s a custom E3 cabrio.
Right. You may take a look here: <https://www.e3-wundercar.de>, to see all four cars. They are all E3.

The California started as a 1970 2800 Automatic. It was converted during the late 10s-early 20s. The conversion took some time and effort. To compensate for the roof, the lower structure was reinforced, the California is stiffer than an E3 saloon, checked by German authorities. Difficulty was, reinforcements were not allowed to be seen, not even on the underside. Christian wanted it like that. Rear doors are gone. Front doors are 30 cm (about 1 ft.) longer than normal to get balanced aesthetics when viewed from the side. The remains of the door pillar were moved backwards, too, of course. It has no top. Driving this car you have to deal with the elements, like it or not. Apart from that, the California is an ordinary E3 Series 1.

A little more info from the Puget Sound Chapter of the BMWCCA...

We are less than a week away from the Wundercar Collection Party at BMW Seattle. Registration is now open to all BMW Seattle customers, in addition to club members. To reserve one of the 200 spaces available, you must register now. Register by contacting Tammy Wiest.
Admission is $10 paid at the door. Any non-perishable food items for the holiday food drive are also welcome and appreciated. Additionally, BMW Seattle is a collection point for new, unwrapped toys for the annual Marine Reserve’s Toys for Tots.
The owner and creator of the Wundercars, Christian Zschocke, will be in attendance, flying all the way from Frankfurt for the party. Get the chance to meet Christian and have him autograph a souvenir. There will also be a chance to hear the music that has been commissioned for the cars, all while enjoying a breakfast catered by Derby’s at The Shop.

The party is November 20th, from 9:00 to 11:00am. The event is by per-registration only and limited to 200 people. You can find more details here.
