my 05cts about these parts
quality of these parts makes a singular turn between the old and the new ones (i say new but i mean those which are not NOS)
my experience is that the really old ones, those in orange stickers, were good,
those in white bmw stickers are not so good, and the W&N stickers are depriment
let me explain, the old ones are sligthly thicker so the set formed by the rubber and the aluminium profile sticks well on the glass keeping enough pressure to stay in place
as we move into newer versions the alu profile is a bit thiner, and thus the profile tends to deform a bit when you introduce it onto the glass, it slightly opens and hence the pressure exerted is reduced
anyone found this situation ? only me ?
