Seems that pm's are not always coming through

I've noticed recently that I have recieved PM's without a red '1' showing up next to the envelope.

It caused me to miss a few messages as I was not triggered.
The messages were available to me in the actual PM thread, I just didn't get the hint to open them.

Now I also see another member @bavbob pointing out that he has sent 2 PM's , possibly having the same phenomenon as I have.

@dang Anyone else having issues?

Are you getting no alerts or just random alerts? As in the alert setting not checked in your Preferences.

No alerts, as in I see the envelope without a a red '1'
Then when I open the pm section, new messages are present in the top thread.

Alert settings seem to be ok
(As in, I want to see that some one sent me a message):
I also didn't touch that in a year or so, but this PM thing started about 2 weeks ago.

Risking demonstration failure; pm me, I'll check in 10 hours, and I'll screen print it.

Working fine now.
I did get the 2 test message notifications + one from a member, they all showed up nicely.


I'll keep tracking to see if it glitches again.
