I'm selling my coupe. See details below. If interested please PM me with your email address and I will forward the document containing lots of pictures.

I have not placed any ads on the internet yet. Placing it on the forum first. I have many photos from under the car, inside and outside the car.

I have added a few pictures to this thread but have lots more if anybody is interested.

For sale 1969 BMW E9 coupe. Asking Price: $16,500 USD. Solid car with tasteful upgrades, some floor pan and rocker panel rust, runs and shifts well. Drove coupe last summer/fall and is currently stored in garage for winter.

1969 BMW CS2800, VIN #2220126. Car came off assembly line on Aug 22, 1969. It was exported to Holland on Aug 29, 1969. Original paint was Baikal metallic paint code 042. It has a newer motor in it. Engine is from a 1986 BMW 535i (E28 with a 5 speed (Getrag 265). Motor is a M30B34, engine block casting number is 1287639, 12L85 or Dec 12, 1985 with 3.5 on both side of block. Engine head Part 1277358, 85, 8. Air intake manifold Part 1280676 3.2/3.5. Bosch Motronic 1.0. The coupe has upgraded disc brakes. New rear tires, battery and clutch master/slave cylinders.

Since the coupe is a Europe model it has kms per hour on odometer. The odometer and tachometer both work. The odometer reads 66,840 kms (not sure how many miles on the car chassis or on the engine/trans). But the engine does not burn any oil or blue smoke out of exhaust. The engine run and has lots of power (good acceleration). The body looks good (repainted before purchased). But the rocker panels and floor will needs some repairs.

Lots of E9 spare parts included with coupe; trunk lid, driver side door, complete used wiring harness, BMW emblems, light lens, trim parts, instrument cluster gauges, interior parts, engine parts, head lights, relays, new brakes and shocks, etc. Two original E9 parts binders and copied E9 service and owner’s manuals included with coupe. Also included are service and electrical wiring manuals for 1986 BMW 535i (for the engine and transmission). Lots of additional service manuals and wiring manuals for E9 coupe and other BMW late models.

looks very reasonable given the up-grades. Definitely needs some rust remediation but probably a good deal for someone who can do "most" of the work themselves.

Good luck, sorry it's leaving that nice garage!
