Hello,
I am selling my 68 2000 CS project. I also have all of the parts I harvested from a 67 2000 C donor car last summer. For details, please see my thread on the projects forum:
http://www.e9coupe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9910
I had this coupe transported up from Phoenix a couple of years ago. I have a clean CA title in my name. This car has been in my garage ever since.
I have brand new Vredstein OEM size tires (5) never used which are mounted on the original rims. I paid $800 for the tires. The original radiator has been re-done and the original fuel tank. I have all the receipts of course. I recently sent the Calipers to Ben Amen at LaJolla and he re-did them and sent them back, a beautiful job.
This coupe needs a restoration. I made a mistake buying it and shipping it up to Alaska, having greatly underestimated the project. The car needs outer and middle rockers, both sides. It has some rust on the top only of the shock towers but is solid lower. I have extra fenders removed from the donor car. I have extra rear lights (the red ones). It also needs floor pans.
Two complete sets of original German Glass and two sets of electric window motors, front and rear. Outstanding enamel C-pillar roundels, two of each bumper and they are straight. All belt line trim, door and sill trim x2 basically. Original Blaupunkt AM radio. Also, the original wheels and tires from the donor car so 10 total period correct dated rims. Trim rings and hubcaps from the white car. Original Trap. mirrors and an original Talbot. Two sets of suspension, two windshield wiper assemblies, you get the picture. The car has period-correct Italian Weber dual 45's.
So, I would really like someone to be able to buy the car for restoration if anyone wants to. I have seen what can be done at the right shop with cars far worse off than mine. I am also a realist and have arrived at my decision and now time to move on. I will part the car out if there is no interest in the complete package with all of the extra parts included. At least I can get a few awesome parts to some of you guys if it comes to that. Here are some pics from the original posts plus you will see many others in the body of the tread

$5000 for the whole thing. I'll see if there is interest for a week or two first and then begin to part it out.
Cheers,
