SF 1972 Bavaria - Craigs Listing

decent looking bavaria ... always like riviera blue. haven't seen a bavaria without a/c before ... probably because i live in the south.

looks like the front seats were recovered, but deleted the headrests.

Beware of buying a car that has motor oil and brake fluid containers in the trunk caddy! Lots of rust on underside of hood conveniently not pictured too. John L, no trim panel behind rear license plate just like you remembered.

They all had headrests I think, it could be Canadian delivery, plate is from early 80's.

Chris and all,

I think all of the North America examples had front headrest but the rears must have been an option. Our original '72 on had fronts and the current car has all four.

Yes Chris, this car also has the rear center panel painted just like both of ours were from the factory. Back in the day I changed ours out first car but looking at it now I like the body color there. Yes, I can alread hear the comments and groans....... ;)

Chris to clairfy the panel is there but the center portion was painted and later it became a brushed aluminum finish...

Visible rust on the leading edge of the right front fender above the headights. No picture of the left side or the edges of the trunk lid, hood, lower doors... Common areas of rust on the these cars.

Riviera Blue is just a great color on all early 70's BMW's.

I've got Bavaria fever. (I'm in good company)
