Did coupes have a 4-speed shift decal on the shift platform?

yes - when I bought mine it was still on but it was peeling and I didn't like the look of it so I removed it.

Shift pattern on center console--
Most of us had long ago memorized the 4 speed shift pattern after say 20 or 25 miles of driving--but it's really a new and serious learning process with those pesky 5 speeds that are so confusing to those of us challenged by many years beyond "ripe".

Hey, and what about the dogleg pattern? Actually I had to track down a shift knob insert so my mechanic (the only one who drives the coupe other than me) would know the pattern.

Pesky 5 speed shift patterns--
are different and do cause confusion especially among those of us who are chronologically challenged by years above the sod--can you imagine the general confusion among us if we had 6 speed trannys.

yes - in the middle of the top frame piece that holds the shifter boot in front of the radio.

There is/was a photo of a coupe on Carl Nelson's site showing the sticker and placement. IIRC
