Hi All, I am looking for Shifter bushings or a shift rod, for a Getrag 265 5 speed trans. Where can I get these? Bob [email protected]

I had a toolmaker press out the old bushings, turn new ones in nylon and press them in.

The parts you are looking for are all still available at BMW. I recently bought all parts of the external shift mechanism for a Getrag 265 conversion new from my local BMW dealer. When looking for Getrag 265 parts, of course, you need to look at the parts catalogue from the early E24 instead of the E9
