Shipping Anomaly ?

Today a small package arrived from TomHom in Germany. It was shipped as a "Gift" with less than $100.00 declared value.

It took four, count my fingers, four days to arrive in my Post Office in Bucks County, PA.

I am imagining fleets of FedEx and DHL jets winging their way across the Atlantic carrying 75-100 small, lonely "Gift" packages.

Tuesday to Tuesday makes 8 days!!
Anyhow, just to make it clear:
- parts declared at a comprehensible value not more than 100US $ may be declared as a present and thus be exempted from customs duty
- I am not a dealer, I am private
- it's not my intention to bypass the official US tariff system
- so keep calm, things hopefully will become better soon
