I am beside myself that Prince Charles took an Aston Martin BD6 and had it converted to burn ethanol to "decrease his carbon footprint." He lives in a 50,000 square foot castle built hundreds of years ago. It must cost thousands to heat and he feels the need to bugger a classic car that's probably driven 1000 miles a year.. What an idiot!!
 
totally agree, he's off his rocker like Algore - driven by PR while living hypocritic lifestyle. Off with their heads!

Sure. I can just hear the conversation."Yes, your royal highness." Then he walks out and the mechanics just give each other looks that say......."What an idiot!!"
 
Well even a NEW car that runs on ethanol doesn't reduce anyone's "carbon footprint". By the time you drive the diesel tractor over the cornfield 3 or 4 times, transport the grain to the distillery, cook it, and then distribute the ethanol to the vehicle, you have consumed FAR more petroleum than would be required for an equivalent amount of gasoline.
