shocks and springs

Hi all, any suggestions for r eplacing my shocks and springs on my 1971 2800cs. Thanks
 
There are numerous threads on this, the bottom line as far as I have researched - Bilstein HD's and Carl Nelson springs. The Bilsteins raise the car about 3/4" from stock hydraulic shocks and will be offset by the lowered springs.
 
I did not experience any rise in height with HD's and stock springs. And the old struts were totally shot six years ago.
